Strategic Behavioral Center–Raleigh is an adolescent inpatient psychiatric hospital that also offers an adolescent psychiatric residential treatment program. Our facility was built specifically with our patients needs in mind. We are dedicated to providing premiere behavioral health care that promotes growth and structure for patients and families throughout the state of North Carolina. Our inviting treatment facility is located in Garner, North Carolina, which is in Wake County, 6 miles south of downtown Raleigh.

Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF)

Strategic Behavioral Center’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program offers long-term treatment for adolescents (ages 12-17) with ongoing behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric challenges. Treatment is individualized for each resident, and we encourage parents/guardians to participate actively in their child’s treatment. Children work with a personalized team of therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, and residential support staff to ensure safety and promote the practice of behavioral management skills. This program provides treatment in a safe, structured, secure therapeutic setting, and is ideal for children who are experiencing serious mental health or behavioral problems that impair their ability to participate in their schools, their communities, and in their home environments.
