Welcome from the CEO

Welcome to Strategic Behavioral Center-Raleigh. Within our 92 bed facility we offer a structured, therapeutic, and safe environment for male and female adolescents ages 5-17. Our unique facility consists of 60 Psychiatric Residential Treatment PRTF beds and 32 Child/Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric (acute) beds. We are located in Garner, North Carolina, which is in Wake County, 6 miles south of downtown Raleigh.

We utilize a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach, with a dedication to the highest quality of care in North Carolina. We strive to put families back together one piece at a time by using a combination of a therapeutic level system, behaviorally-driven point system, and behavior management system. Welcome to Strategic Behavioral Health - Wilmington

Our staff is highly trained in the implementation of our behavioral modification process. The therapy department is staffed with a diverse group of licensed therapists who provide outstanding individual, family, and group therapy. Our certified recreation therapists assist our residents in developing social and coping skills through therapeutic recreational activities. Our nursing staff is second to none in providing high quality nursing care. And, our educational department sets us apart from other PRTFs in helping adolescents meet their educational needs.

Our professional staff is prepared to provide outstanding care for adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral problems. We serve a population with general psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bi-polar disorder, substance abuse, mood disorder, and others.

We are very proud of the services we provide and the outcomes our residents have following discharge. We look forward to serving you, your family, and your child!
